Meet the Team

Anne Urban , Owner/President 

Before founding DPC, Ms. Urban worked 22 years in the hotel industry serving in a variety of management positions including: Regional Director of Operations, General Manager, Regional Director of Sales, Director of Sales, Corporate Sales Trainer. Ms. Urban worked 5 years as Director of Convention Sales & Marketing for the Jacksonville and the Beaches Convention & Visitors Bureau. Ms. Urban was responsible for the management of the sales personnel and the services department for the CVB. The services department serviced over 900 groups per year in the North Florida region. Ms. Urban has had a strong presence in the following territories: Washington, DC (18 years), Jacksonville (14 years), Atlanta (9 years) and Tallahassee (7 years). Ms. Urban is the 2005-2006 Chapter President of the North Florida Chapter of Meeting Professional International . She has served in many leadership roles in the Jacksonville community to include: Chairman of the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce, Beaches Division, President of North Florida Chapter of HSMAI, Board Member of Executive Women International and President of SKAL International Jacksonville Chapter.

Miranda Wilson

Event & Design Manager 

Miranda joined the DPC team in May of 2019. She graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Tourism & Event Management. Over the years she has worked with numerous vendors in the Gainesville in area such as, Catering, Event Coordination, Venue Management and Florals. Miranda's passion is in design and bringing to life events that make you say "Wow"!

Abbey Jones

Director of Business Development 

Abbey came to Destination Planning in February 2020 after moving to Jacksonville, Florida. Previously she worked for The Omni Resort, Amelia Island as the Marketing & Group Sales Manager. She joined our team because she loves working with clients to ensure their event is more impressive and fun than they anticipated!

She spent 15+ years working on the client-side of corporate events, and is very familiar with their motivations and needs – from assistants, to event planners, sales teams and CEOs. Your goals are her goals!

Victoria Rodriguez

Sales/Event Coordinator 

Victoria joined the DPC team in April of 2020. With a degree in Event Management, Victoria is an alumni of the University of Central Florida Rosen College. After working in the hospitality industry for over nine years she has gained an enormous amount of experience in Event Coordination, Planning and much more with numerous vendors in the Central and Northern Florida area. Victoria’s passion and devotion to the event industry shows through each and every event she is presented with!
